Qualifications

  • Post-secondary studies in Marketing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing related field. Experience with web development and HTML/Coding
  • Knowledge with managing an e-commerce site is considered a definite asset

Detailed Role & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

  • Creating and implementing a marketing strategic plan based on the company’s goals and objectives and in line with MT’s brand. 
  • Writing content for the weekly blog and performing general website updates as needed.
  • Strategizing ways to explore new platforms to maximize client reach and increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborating and managing relationships with internal departments, clients, and external contacts.
  • Sourcing and ordering marketing items as required.
  • Completing projects within a given timeframe.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Highly creative with an excellent sense of trends in the design industry
  • Strong computer skills including Photoshop and WordPress
  • Ability to multi-task on several projects and be adaptable to changes in priorities
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills (accurate proof-reading, spelling and grammar are considered essential)
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external persons
  • Highly organized and excellent time management skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative without instruction
  • Aligned with the company principles and values
