Designing a Home For an Active Lifestyle

A lot of people when they first approach a designer say, we don’t want marble, it needs to be realistic, we have kids, we have dogs. I always tell them, I know about dogs, I know about kids, I know about the chaos that toys can bring and how hard services need to react to muddy boots and dog paws and all that kind of stuff.

Having the lifestyle that we have has really just made us better designers for the majority of people. We understand lifestyle, we understand active lifestyle, we understand what it’s like to have nice things but also to still have the chaos of toys and things going on around us.
