“I’m Dean, the Lead Architectural Designer at Madison Taylor Design. My family is originally from Trinidad and Tobago. I moved up to Muskoka when I was around 8 years old. Spending time on Lake of Bays formed my lifestyle. I’m really connected to the outdoors. We spend a lot of time on computers and communicating through emails so a lot of times I like to get up a little bit earlier, get out on the water, see the sunrise; it just clears your mind and prepares you for the day. The outdoors has been paramount for balancing my work.

I love to connect with people. It really drives who I am and in every aspect of design. I’ve been collaborating with Madison and the interior design team for over a year and a half now and absolutely loving it.”
