Senior Human Resources Representative

Madison Taylor Design is an integrated design firm with a collaborative team of approximately 30 professionals. We are known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality design solutions across a range of projects. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced HR professional to support our team.

We are looking for a Senior Human Resources Representative to manage and support all core HR functions. This is a standalone, part-time role ideal for a seasoned HR professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, creative environment and can operate both strategically and hands-on. The position is hybrid, working out of our Midhurst office at least 1 day per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of HR experience, preferably within a mid-sized company
• Strong knowledge of Ontario employment laws and HR best practices
• Proven ability to work independently and manage a full HR function
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of discretion and professionalism
• CHRP/CHRL designation considered an asset

Detailed Role & Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations for a team of ~30 employees
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
• Conduct reviews and provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with Ontario employment standards and regulations
• Manage compensation, benefits coordination, and HR record-keeping
• Support leadership with organizational planning and HR strategy
• Promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture
