Meet Dean: Finding Balance in Nature and Creativity

Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Dean’s journey brought him to Muskoka at just eight years old—a move that shaped both his lifestyle and his creative outlook. Growing up near Lake of Bays instilled in him a deep appreciation for the outdoors and the quiet balance it offers.

Though much of his work now takes place in front of a computer, Dean finds grounding in early mornings on the water. There’s something about watching the sunrise that helps him reset, reflect, and prepare for the day ahead. It’s a ritual that reminds him of the importance of pace—how moments of calm and clarity can fuel meaningful creativity.

For Dean, inspiration comes not only from the natural world but also from connection. Whether collaborating with teammates or envisioning spaces that bring people together, he approaches his work with empathy and intention. It’s this blend of curiosity, balance, and human connection that defines his process and continues to guide his growth within the Madison Taylor team.
