From Dining Table Designs to Industry Leader
“I started off working at my dining table,” Madison shares in the video. Those early days cemented Madison’s belief in the importance of not just creativity but hospitality. That humble beginning was more than just a workspace—it was the launchpad for a design philosophy that blends style, service, and execution.

“I wanted our clients to be able to come to us, bring their great ideas and their visions, and really just have a seamless approach to home design,” Madison explains.

Signature Projects That Tell a Story
Over the years, Madison Taylor Design has been trusted with countless design projects—from luxury homes to transformative commercial builds. While every project is special, a few stand out for Madison as meaningful challenges that pushed the team’s creativity and showcased their collaborative spirit.
Hollywood Glam in Southern Ontario
One unforgettable residential project came with a clear vision: Hollywood glam, inspired by the client’s love of California.
“There wasn’t a lot of local inspiration to draw from [in Ontario],” Madison says, “so we were really pushed creatively.”
The result? A stunning home that blends classic curves and traditional tile work with modern, transitional finishes. It’s a glamorous yet grounded space that feels unique in its setting—and the client was thrilled.
Eclectic Meets Modern on Lake Joseph
When tasked with designing a transitional Muskoka-style vacation home on Lake Joseph, the team expected a classic clean, white, natural-inspired interior. Then the client revealed a collection of bold, vibrant interior pieces from a previous designer.
“We got excited,” Madison says. “It was so different—and we could really take it and run with it.”
The team incorporated custom rugs, colorful art, and eclectic finishes that brought new life to the cherished pieces. The finished cottage is a personal, joyful reflection of the homeowner—and to her, it instantly felt like home.
From Water Plant to Wellness Destination
Not all transformations start with a blank canvas. When a commercial client brought the team to what was once a water treatment plant, Madison admits they weren’t quite sure where to begin. The building was square, brick, and basic—a far cry from the vision of a luxurious salon and spa.
But with bold thinking and full-scale renovations, the team reimagined the building entirely. Walls were torn down, additions were built, and the space was reshaped into an elegant and functional, state-of-the-art facility for Cavana Ridge Spa. Now a destination-worthy space, Cavana Ridge Spa attracts clients from hours away.
“Our client was so thrilled,” Madison says, “and we were so proud to create a backdrop that really allows their business to flourish.”
The project even won an ARIDO Award for its innovative design and remains a standout achievement in the company’s history.
